This gilding course is designed as a practical introduction to water gilding and mordant (oil) gilding. Although gilding is a complex and time-consuming craft the basic skills can be easily grasped in this 3 day intensive course.
This course is an ideal platform for anyone wishing to start a new career or to pursue a lucrative hobby, and students come from a wide range of backgrounds, e.g. Art Restorers, Picture framers, French Polishers, Antique Dealers, House Wives, Art Students etc.
